New Acquisitions

Subject:  Adcogroup World has purchased Filochrome inc.’s manufacturing division of metal-based products and a company specialized in point-of-purchase displays, Northern Images Displays.

We are pleased to announce that Adcogroup World has officially become owner of the manufacturing division of Filochrome inc. and of Northern Images Displays (NID).

Filochrome inc. has been in operation since 1955 and is one of Canada’s largest manufacturers of grids for kitchen stoves and refrigerators. It focuses on various customers within the industrial fields of household appliances, food processing, ventilation systems, lighting, transport, and sport accessories. This new division’s operations will be named Filochrome Métal Inc. and will be managed from our metal-based manufacturer. “This acquisition works well with our company’s plan for growth and it enables us to add new expertise such as producing in stainless, to have more customers and to increase the production agenda of our factory Sterini Metal by the synergy,” says Remi Godbout, president of Adcogroup World.

As for NID, it also provides many advantages to Adco. Operating since 1992, this company specializes in designing and manufacturing point-of-purchase displays and will not only bring us more customers, but it will also offer us an expertise in integrating various materials such as wood, plastic, acrylic, glass, printing, etc. “These new acquisitions will strengthen our position as North America’s leader in distributing and manufacturing furniture and accessories for stores. They will widen our sources of income and also give us a better purchasing power,” adds Maxime Deraspe, vice-president of sales and marketing in Adcogroup World.
